Varcut 4222 is an extreme pressure oil developed for use on steel and nonferrous alloys metals in a wide range of machinery. Typical applications include turning, gear hobbing, thread cutting, and thread forming. Contains inactive sulphur EP and lubricity additives together with anti-mist and anti-oxidant packages.

Varcut 4222 is suitable for use as a lubricating oil where a viscosity grade of ISO 22 is required. It can be ultised in automatic lathes where cross leakage into gearboxes can occur.
